HALL ACOUSTICS PURSUANT TO ÖNORM B8115/3
The basis for our work is provided by a preliminary acoustic calculation in which the perimeter areas, materials, room volume and in the case of multiple use, above all speech audibility have to be taken into account. Schweiger employs a range of materials that can be used on both ceilings and walls.

PERFORATED/SLIT PANELS
Wood panels are available with a range of perforation sizes (micro-perforations of up to 15mm, various patterning distances and chamfered on the visible side). If a highly effective insulation nonwoven is employed, sufficient back ventilation is possible even in the case of limited structural heights. Schweiger prefers to use ÖKOtex, which is also suitable for the medical area.
Slit panels and MDF patterned sheets, which are available in a range of colours.
Bevelled perforated panels with varying perforation sizes and wood grains.

LAMELLA
Wood panels placed close together offer an optically attractive appearance and excellent acoustic values.
Solid wood lamella for wall and ceiling panelling.

WOOD WOOL SHEETS
Mineral binders transform, fine, long-fibre wood wool into impact- and moisture-resistant, flame-retardant sheets. Even in small quantities, deliveries in virtually any colour are possible from standard systems such as RAL and NCS.

“WEKUSTIK” STRETCHABLE FABRICS
“Wekustik” fabrics are light, flexible and extremely effective, and due to their micro-perforations furnish excellent acoustic values. Owing to their low weight and an outstanding price/performance ratio, they are also ideally suited for renovations (including swimming baths).
